A small ultra-secret team of Scientists led by Dr Daniel Cassian (Harris) is appointed by the US government to investigate and prevent Biological disasters, natural or otherwise. They soon discover an organization with the exact opposite purpose, The Dawn, which views humanity as the ultimate pestilence on Earth, and plans to bring about its extinction via various plagues. The programme centres on Cassian's and his associates' efforts to prevent this; the series was cancelled before any members of The Dawn were captured or even identified. [GSt]
