(? - ) US sf critic with a combined PhD in English and American Studies from Indiana University. His research focuses on imperialist imaginings in twentieth century literature and culture (see Imperialism), and he is the Science Fiction Literature division head for the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts. His works include "Anti-Leninists in Space" (May 2011 Journal of the Fantastic in the Arts vol 22 #2), "Toward a Cosmopolitan Science Fiction" (June 2011 American Literature vol 83 #2) and "Gwyneth Jones Unplugged" (July 2011 Science Fiction Studies vol 38 #2).
