US letter-size saddle-stapled weird fiction magazine. Publisher: M F Enterprises as "M.F. Ent." Editor: Myron Fass. One issue only, January 1959.
This magazine was primarily made up of low-quality Horror fiction some of which bordered on science fiction. While there was almost no film material, it is nevertheless a sought-after item by collectors of Monster Movies publications. This is perhaps because it was one of the first titles in the field from the later notorious publisher Myron Fass, and apparently the first of his horror titles to carry a version of the M F Enterprises imprint. It should not be confused with Shock, a far superior periodical which appeared briefly in the following year. The cover was reprinted on the second issue of Thriller. [GFi/DRL]
