US letter-size Cinema magazine printed on newsprint. Publisher: Windsor Communications Incorporated. No editor named. Ten (?) issues from 1983 to 1986. Publication schedule was roughly quarterly.
This title, one of several attempting to emulate such Media Magazines as Fantastic Films and Starlog, did so with modest success. Films covered included E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial (1982), Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) and Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983). At least one special edition appeared in the mid-1980s, featuring Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) (see Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) among other productions. Star Blaster also ran occasional material on straight adventure films and related genres. [GSt/DRL]
