Working name of US author Jayne Tannehill Englehart (? - ), partner of Theodore Sturgeon 1976-1985; she began to publish work of genre interest with "Eclipse of the Son" in Chrysalis 2 (anth 1978) edited by Roy Torgeson. Her sf novel, V: The Oregon Invasion (1988), is a competent Tie set in the "V" universe, after disease has slowed the Visitors' Invasion of Earth, causing them to focus on the Pacific Rim. [JC/DRL]
