Entry updated 19 February 2024. Tagged: Publication.

UK oversized Media Magazine printed on high-quality paper. Published by Visual Imagination Limited. Editors were Anthony Brown, Lee Binding, Jan Vincent Rudski and Tom Spilsbury, although not in chronological order. 231 monthly issues, 1988 to 2008, with the final edition being a double issue.

This title originally focused mainly on Fantasy and sf Television, later expanding its scope to include comedy and drama. Series covered included Blake's 7 (1978-1981), The Prisoner (1967-1968) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993-1999). Subtitles included "The Magazine of Cult Television." Some attention was also paid to Radio drama, although most of the content was standard fare, including Interviews with performers and reviews of various series. Visual Imagination ceased production of Print Magazines in 2009 although E-Zine versions of some issues are available at the company's website along with many articles from TV Zone's run. One of several companion titles was Cult Times. [GSt]
