(1957- ) US author whose Near Future Young Adult Sangrian Invasion sequence – comprising Alien Invasion & Other Inconveniences (2010) and Homicidal Aliens & Other Disappointments (2013) – is set after an Alien Invasion has unhoused the young protagonist, who must learn how to survive while resisting the enemy. The Telepathic Sangrians combine a typical disdain for Homo sapiens and an evolved Ecological consciousness: their motives for genocide against the human race may in part be motivated by a felt need to fumigate the planet.
