Working name of Stephanie Cavagnaro-Wong (? - ) US stuntwoman and author, active from the early 2000s, whose Russell's Attic sequence, beginning with Zero Sum Game (2014), features an exceedingly tough female operative whose preternatural capacity to graph Mathematical calculi of movements in the real world makes her dangerous. She seems to have suffered a Memory Edit about the source of this Superpower. An intense scrutiny of the Linguistic implications in The Language of Liars (2026) irradiates a not unconventional Space Opera involving a precious Power Source only minable by one species, whose survival – after centuries of capitalist exploitation – hangs in the balance. Huang's style is briskly knowing. Her story "As the Last I May Know" (23 October 2019 Tor.com) won a Hugo for best short story. [JC]
