(1956- ) German-born US author, married to Kevin J Anderson, who in her solo work has concentrated mostly on Ties to the Star Wars universe, beginning with Star Wars: Junior Jedi Knights: Anakin's Quest (1997), and with one title, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Little Things (2002), contributed to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer sequence. Earlier, with her husband, she collaborated in many volumes of the Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights sequence, beginning with Star Wars: Young Jedi Knights: Heirs of the Force (1995) with Kevin J Anderson. Among other collaborations with her husband is The Martian War: A Thrilling Eyewitness Account of the Recent Invasion As Reported by Mr. H.G. Wells (2005; vt The Martian War 2012 as by Anderson solo) with Kevin J Anderson as Gabriel Mesta, which riffs with some wit on H G Wells's imagined manner; and the Crystal Doors fantasy sequence for the Young Adult market, beginning with Crystal Doors (2006) with Kevin J Anderson.
