(? - ) Canadian author, possibly pseudonymous, who began publishing work of genre interest with "Ticker Hounds" for On Spec in Winter 2005. Whitechapel Gods (2008) is a Steampunk tale set in an Alternate History version of Whitechapel, in east London, years after a failed revolt against the gods of the machine. Two of them, Mama Engine and Grandfather Clock, have transformed Whitechapel into a hellish Keep. Peters's second novel, Ghost Ocean (2009), is an Urban Fantasy [see The Encyclopedia of Fantasy under links below]. [JC]
