(1957- ) US author who began publishing work of genre interest with "Starbird" (in L Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future, Volume V, anth 1989, ed Algis Budrys), and who concentrated on Ties for various enterprises: for the Marvel Comics Generation X series beginning with Generation X: Crossroads (1998); for the BattleTech spinoff MechWarrior, beginning with MechWarrior: Dark Age: Fortress of Lies (2004); and for the Conan universe (see Robert E Howard), beginning with Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures: Anok, Heretic of Stygia, Volume 1: Scion of the Serpent (2005). He has also co-edited anthologies for the Star Trek universe, beginning with Star Trek: S.C.E. Book 6: Wildfire (anth 2002) with Keith R A DeCandido, David Mack and Christina F York; as these are not edited works in the usual sense (in accordance with the practice for this enterprise, all contributors are listed as editors; they are not listed below, with the one exception of Wildfire).
