(1931-2003) UK author of a routine sf novel for Robert Hale Limited, The Measured Caverns (1978). The adolescent hero is one of many children raised in Underground isolation within a kind of Pocket Universe called Sanctuary; he briefly tours "Outside", which was described to him as terrifyingly warped by Future War but proves to be contemporary New York, and willingly returns to his cell.
